21. Breeching. When fishing under ice the net was pulled from the water with the help of breeching. One end was hooked to the net, while the other tied to the fishermen’s shoulder or waist. If a guild-member regularly offended the rules they were punished by being hanged from the beam by breeching for the length of the meeting.
