From the interior of the room we can deduce that the family aspired to copy the town-fashion, but at the same time the equipment contains archaic pieces as well. Beds placed side by side spread to an urban-civic effect. Representative but less practical chests for storing clothes have been replaced by chest-of-drawers in the age shown and the use of wardrobes has also become commonplace.
The legacy of the traditional home culture, the rammed earth floor, despite the fact that there was an abundance of stone in Tihany, was preserved in the era and was not replaced by stone floors or plank floors. At the same time, the floor remained clean and dustfree with regular maintenance, ie watering.
All in all, not only for the rarely used clean rooms, but also for the living room presented here, compared to the kitchen, its set of objects reflect an earlier style due to the good quality, timeless furniture.
