49.   Butter-churn. Butter was made from sour milk or cream, beating it with a long-handled and round-headed tool, the „zurboló”. A local tale tells the story of a young lad, who boasted at the harvest that he could drink a jar of buttermilk, the sour drink left after churning butter. The farmer’s daughter churned all day long, just to please him.
